Legal Advisor
MEER (Mirrors for Earth’s Energy Rebalancing) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to collaborate with the Core Leadership Team and provide legal advice on a range of matters for MEER. These include handling contracts, establishing new projects for MEER, and resolving other legal issues. MEER's projects are mostly located in Africa and Asia, and the legal matters involve researching employment regulations, land acquisition and management, and project construction. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for addressing the climate crisis, extensive legal experience, and a willingness to analyze, summarize, and assist in resolving legal issues for MEER. The role is volunteer based and expectations are for approximately 5 to 10 hours per month, although this can be flexible.
Objective of this role
