Cooling and shading structures under development for outdoor spaces, including small and medium-sized agricultural sites such as smallholdings, market gardens, nurseries, orchards or livestock areas. Potential partners could offer suitable locations for future demonstrations, with installation and monitoring requirements discussed individually.
We welcome interest from homeowners, schools, community groups, businesses, property owners, small and medium-sized farms or agricultural sites, and research organisations in the United States, Europe and Asia.
You do not need to be a scientist to get involved. A suitable location, an interest in practical cooling and a willingness to document your experience could make you a valuable partner. Relevant construction, coating application or monitoring experience is welcome but not essential for every opportunity.
Different locations will support different types of collaboration. Some partners may apply a product following our guidance, take basic surface temperature measurements with a handheld infrared thermometer, and share photographs, video reviews and feedback.
Selected sites may support more detailed research involving sensors and longer periods of monitoring. We will discuss the appropriate approach, practical requirements and responsibilities with each partner before anything is agreed.
Simple demonstrations provide practical feedback and are distinct from controlled research trials.
