MEER at the Climate Film Festival

We are excited to announce that MEER's film, Freetown: Cooling a City, has been programmed as part of the built environment/solutions block. It will be screened alongside the second episode of An Optimist's Guide to the Planet on Sunday afternoon.

About the Festival

The Climate Film Festival is a newly established cultural organization in New York City, hosting an annual festival, year-round programming, and educational resources. This year’s festival runs from Friday, September 20th to Sunday, September 22nd.

Film Screening and Q&A Session

We are pleased to announce the screening of Freetown: Cooling a City on Sunday afternoon the 22nd September. Following the screening, we will host a short Q&A session with some people from the MEER community. This interactive session promises to enrich the experience by providing deeper insights into the work being done by MEER on the ground in Africa. We hope that members of the MEER community can join us for this special event, as your presence would greatly enhance the discussion and engagement with the audience.
