PYROX

PYROX turns environmental heat fields into people-level exposure. It maps who is out in the heat, when, and how vulnerable they are — so the risk picture reflects real populations, not just weather stations.

Scientific detail

PYROX overlays gridded exposure fields from HESTIA with demographic, occupational and vulnerability data to produce zonal exposure–strain distributions. It links to physiological outputs from JOS-3 for individual-level risk translation and supports counterfactual scenario runs for reflective-canopy, cool-roof and reservoir interventions.
